Walk among the treetops of the Arenal rainforest

Some of the rainforest's best life happens far above your head — and the hanging bridges of Místico Park put you right in the middle of it. On this guided ~2-mile walk through primary rainforest you'll cross 6 hanging bridges and 10 fixed bridges, moving between the forest floor and the canopy with open views of the Arenal Volcano along the way.

The difference between walking the bridges alone and walking them with an expert naturalist guide is enormous: sloths, toucans, howler monkeys, colorful frogs and even the tiny things — spiders, insects, orchids — that you'd simply never spot on your own.

2. Guided canopy walk — about 2 miles across the bridge network at a relaxed pace, with wildlife spotting and rainforest stories from your bilingual guide.
3. Volcano viewpoints — photo stops with the Arenal cone as your backdrop (weather permitting).
4. Return to your hotel.
